Born in Melbourne, Shima Luan began her YouTube channel, Danger Dolan in January 2008 and soon gained a huge following.
Originally from Australia, Shima is featured on Super Planet Dolan, Planet Dolan’s animation channel, appearing as the most active character running around the track.
Her educational focus together with Dolan’s fabrications further developed her viewership and she provided extensive engaging content to followers looking for interesting facts about their favorite topics.
From the videos that focused on education to the ones full of fabricated stories, Shima’s content has always proven to be unique and stimulating for all ages.
Listening to Shima’s soft, timid voice had a comforting effect on everyone due to its consistent presence.
Through her uniquely engaging demeanor, Shima was able to develop a prosperous career on Planet Dolan; this was made evident by the fact that she used a charming pink cat with a red dress as her avatar.
Unfortunately, by the fall of 2016, Danger Dolan’s channel announced that they hadn’t heard from her in some time – creating an air of mystery surrounding the figure that everybody had grown so fond of.
Shima’s absence left her fans wondering what had happened to her and why she was no longer around. It was evident to the audience that something was amiss, due to the lack of details provided by the crew.
As a result, two extreme speculations began to arise amongst individuals concerning her departure.
Some suggested that the crew was attempting to hide some dark truth while others were more sympathetic, suggesting possible personal issues such as difficulties with mental health had caused Shima to step away.
While only Shima knows what truly happened, it is clear her departure has perplexed and saddened many of her fans.

There has been no new information regarding this in almost four years. Later, Shima’s disappearance was examined in a video by the YouTube user ScareTheater on February 12, 2020.
Hellbent, a crew member from the Dolan, said the following in the comments: “To those who don’t know her, it’s an unsolved enigma. We would have to openly snoop into the personal life of the actress who portrayed Shima to resolve the issue satisfactorily. Nobody wants to be hauled out in public and shown around after quitting a position in the entertainment industry, and that would be horrible.”
He added, “I say,” “Considering the privacy of others. I can only state that this is among the better videos on the subject. Everyone gave in to the enticements of joking thoughts of dread and conspiracy. It has never been easy to convince people that performers are in cartoons, not real people.” As confirmed by Hellbent’s remark, Shima is safe, but the cause of her disappearance is private and always will be.
Profile Picture change
Shima’s profile picture was changed to a black and white photograph of crumpled-up leaves on December 23, 2020. Numerous explanations have been put forth.
While some speculated that this would portend Shima’s eventual comeback, others claimed it has no significance. Others have speculated that her account may have been compromised or that Shima changed her profile photo to signal her followers that she was alright.
Returning hints of Shima
After “TheSuper Planet” was revived in 2022 with a plot involving Dolan and a new character, dark, discovering what happened to all of the old cast members of Planet Dolan after Dolan wakes up from a two-year sleep, it was hinted in a YouTube community post in December 2022 that Shima Luan would return to Super Planet Dolan.
